About Us

PAWS is focused on providing a foundational knowledge

of Islamic beliefs and values.

BACKGROUND

At PAWS, children are our most important asset.

The Pillars Academy Weekend School (PAWS) program of instruction reflects our commitment to a meaningful education by addressing the needs of the individual student. The dedicated faculty, staff, and administrators at PAWS have invested their time and skills in order to provide the students with a foundational knowledge of Islamic beliefs and practices.

We welcome the ideas of our parents and support in our mission to serve the growing population of Muslim children in the local community. By working in a true partnership with parents, we intend to maximize the investment of time, effort, and resources so that the students and parents have a rewarding, valuable, and satisfying experience here at PAWS.

PROGRAMS

PAWS is where future leaders are inspired and nurtured.

PAWS is focused on providing a foundational knowledge of Islamic beliefs and values. We have a set program and a well-defined curriculum that is augmented throughout the school year with activities that correspond to events in the Islamic/Hijri calendar. Teachers who speak fluent Arabic teach both our Arabic and Qur’an classes. Our curated curriculum is focused on four main areas:

Qur’an

Arabic

Qur'anic Arabic (Noorani Principals)

Islamic Studies

OBJECTIVES

  1. To educate our students to be thoughtful, practicing Muslims who are equipped with the knowledge and understanding found in the teachings of Islam.

  2. To teach our students to be well-mannered, respectful people of integrity.

  3. To have our students become outstanding representatives of our community and to be able to relate Islamic beliefs and teachings to others in a coherent and compelling way.
